Sanitary napkins are an integral part of women’s life in our society today. Quality sanitary napkins are a basic right for every female hence Bureau of Indian Standards has set standards for safety napkins to be maintained by all manufacturers. We, at DTRL, conduct sanitary napkin testing as per IS 5405 of the BIS at our facility.

Different tests are conducted which majorly include testing for size, absorbency, pH value, material used, finishing and disposability.
