Principle: Liquid Particle Counter is a instrument used to detect the contamination in a liquid. To determine the liquid contamination, the proposed liquid passes through the liquid particle counter. With the help of liquid particle counter, size and number of particle or contamination can be determined. Liquid particle counters can be used to check the any quality of the liquid, either it is fuel oil or any chemical or even drinking water.

Particle measuring technology is used to control cleanliness of liquids and to identify quality deficiencies and excessive wear in order to avoid eventual costly machine failures. PAMAS particle counters measure solid particulate contamination of liquids and control the efficiency of filters and the cleanliness of liquids.

Particles circulating at high speed and pressure in the liquids of turbines, power plants, gearboxes and offshore applications are capable of damaging mechanical parts of the system.
